p1010052Here we all are at Fuji Q.  It is an amusement park that David really likes and was pretty high on his “Must Do” list for his time in Japan with Tamara.  What we did not know before we started was that Tamara had NEVER EVER been on a roller coaster in her entire life.  Tamara made up for her lack by beginning her experiences of roller coaster riding on what is reputed to be the tallest roller coaster in the world.  This picture was taken at lunch which I am surprised that Tamara even felt like eating after her ordeal.p1010075 Overall considering her lack of experience Tamara proved to a real trooper.   However, if she thought Fuji Q would be tough little did she know what was about to happen the next day.

In the second picture you see David and Tamara with Mount Fuji in the background clearly visible.  The following day David scheduled for them to climb the mountain from the bottom to the top so we blessed then and sent them on their way while we returned to Tokyo, TV and supper.  Climbing the mountain had been a high point  -excuse the pun – of Davids as he had secretly planned to propose to Tamara at the top of the mountain just as the sun rose.  But as the  mountain climb is rep1010107ally there story let rs get back to Fuji Q.

In this picture you sill see what amusement parks are really all about.  Father and son Bonding.  David and I shared a couple of rides together and had lots and lots and lots of fun.  This was called the tower and took you up several many meters then dropped you real quick.  IT was a kinda tame way to go bungee jumping I guess.
