AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGH

Here I was just riding my bike along the road to the post office when there on the road just sitting in the sun was this very dangerous looking snake.  Fortunately it was not on a lunch break, so after looking at me for a bit is slid off into the undergrowth at the side of the road.

This was the second time in a few days that I had seen such a dangerous looking snake and I thought Japan was supposed to be such a safe country.  I tell you this missionary life can be scary sometimes.

If that were not bad enough, just today my girls spotted this lethal looking dinosaur wannabe crawling around in our back yard.  I tell you I think it is a jolly good job we are moving next month to a much safer part of the Tokyo jungle.  I am almost too scared to go out at nights alone now.  Just in case your getting real worried about us life isn’t all bad all the time I have to go out to McDonald’s soon and enjoy one of their special burgers of the month, that is if I can avoid the lethal looking dinosaur wannabes and the dangerous looking snakes……….
